Faction Reputation and Gear
Factions have been part of World of Warcraft since Vanilla. With every expansion the roles and functions of Faction has been altered and Mist of Pandaria is no exception. There are a number of factions in Pandaria you can raise your reputation with, granting you access to the usual vanity items. However, in Mists of Pandaria faction reputation unlocks more than just mounts and faction tabards. You will need to raise your reputation with a number of factions before you can purchase Valor and Justice gear.

The August Celestials
The August Celestials are a cult of worshippers dedicated to preserving the legacy of the mythical Red Crane. The August Celestials daily quests hub is located at the Cradle of Chi-Ji in southern Celestial while the August Celestials quartermaster resides at the Alliance and Horde city hubs in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

A few quests grant reputation with the August Celestials. However, the bulk of faction reputation will come from dailies. The August Celestials daily quests become available once you reach revered status with the Golden Lotus in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

Golden Lotus
The Golden Lotus is a faction of pandaren occupied with investigation and combating the threat posed by the rise of the Mogu. The bulk of the Golden Lotus forces are located at key strongholds in Vale of Eternal Blossoms, including the daily quest hub Golden Pagola.
Golden Lotus Reputation
You will encounter the Golden Lotus faction in Kun-Lai Summit around level 87. The quest hub at the Golden Pagola unlocks at level 90. You require revered status with the Golden Lotus before you are able to unlock the daily quest hubs for the Shado-Pan and August Celestials factions.

The Klaxxi
Sworn to protect the ideals and legacy of the Mantid Empire, the insect-like Klaxxi are a faction of Mantid and the archetypical enemy of the Pandaren. However, in their struggle to preserve their culture, the Klaxxi are forced to turn on their fellow Mantids to eradicate the corruption that has besieged their race.
The Klaxxi Reputation
The Klaxxi are native to the Dread Wastes with their quest hub located at Klaxxi’vess in central part of the zone. There are several daily quests and a repeatable turn-in quest. You can request several different buffs and enhancements from the Klaxxi elders once you unlock them all.

The Shado-Pan
The Shado-Pan is a dark and sinister clan of pandaren dedicated to the protection of Pandaria and as such embroiled in a timeless struggle with the Sha. While the Shado-Pan are scattered across Pandaria, the hub of the Shado-Pan clan is located at (?) in western Town Long Steppes and houses the Shado-Pan quartermaster and the Shado-Pan daily quest NPCs.

Most quest and dailies in Town Long Steppes grant reputation with the Shado-Pan. However, to access the Shado-Pan dailies, you are first required to reach revered status with the Golden Lotus faction.
